1. When should invitations be sent out?
Invitations should be sent out 6 to 8 weeks prior to the wedding. If you are hosting a destination wedding, they should be sent out event earlier. Be sure to send out your Save the Dates nine to ten months prior to the wedding.

2. What is the standard wedding invitation wording?
Invitation wording can vary greatly, depending on the message you want to convey about the upcoming event. The wording can depend on many factors, such as the hosts (Bride and groom? Bride's parents? Both parents?), location (Local or Destination?), or tone (Casual or Formal?) . Below are three examples of the most common wording used. However, you may choose to add your own touch to the wording or even completely change it!

4. When should response card reply dates be?
Typically, you'll need all responses from guests approximately two to four weeks prior to the wedding.

5. Is it possible to request samples?

6. What type of printing do your invitations use?
Printing can vary depending on the paper, quantity and schedule. For certain types of papers, digital printing produces similar results as the more expensive offset printing. However, offset printing can be very costly if low quantities are involved. Blue Lotus Company strives to produce quality printing while maintaining low costs for our clients. Therefore, many designs are produced using digital printing. However, offset or letterpress printing is offered at a higher rate. Please contact us at info@bluelotuscompany.com for quotes.

7. What are the price ranges for your custom invitation designs?
Because all designs are custom designed for each client, there is no set price for a specific design. However, we have compiled a sample price list for our most popular layouts.

8. Can the custom design consultation process be completed online?
Absolutely! We have worked with many clients completely online! This removes the need to meet in person and may actually speed up the design process. To begin the consultation process, complete the questionnaire and we will get back to you within 48 hours.

9. When do I need to provide you with the final content?
Final content and wording must be provided at a minimum of three weeks prior to the delivery of the invitations. This allows time for us to incorporate the content into the designs and provide you with the layout for approval. We will not produce designs without your final approval.

10. Can your company produce matching sets of additional wedding materials, such as programs, place cards or menu cards?
Absolutely! We are your wedding design consultants and we'd love to assist you in carrying your wedding style through the event however we can. Please contact us for a quote for additional wedding materials.

11. Can I get envelopes delivered early?
Yes. Many clients request envelopes to be delivered earlier in order to send them in for addressing. Please coordinate with us during the design process and we can plan on deliverying the envelopes to you at an earlier date.
